About this file

This document is a Drug-Free Workplace Form related to a Florida state contract opportunity for the Hillsborough County Head Start/Early Head Start Department. The form certifies that a vendor will maintain a drug-free workplace by implementing specific workplace policies and procedures, including publishing statements about drug prohibition, informing employees about drug abuse risks, providing employees with drug-free workplace guidelines, and establishing consequences for drug-related workplace violations.

The associated state and local contract opportunity seeks multiple qualified contractors to provide a pool of substitute teachers and teacher aides for temporary or part-time positions over a two-year term. The project has an estimated budget of $1,975,930.00 and is specifically for the Hillsborough County Head Start/Early Head Start Department in Florida. The form itself is a standard certification document that vendors must complete to demonstrate compliance with Florida Statute 287.087, which outlines requirements for maintaining a drug-free workplace as a condition of contract eligibility.
