About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) from the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) for hardware and software upgrades for their existing ICOR robots. DFS intends to contract with ICOR Technology Inc. to facilitate these upgrades, as ICOR robots are proprietary products manufactured, sold, and distributed exclusively by ICOR and require proprietary software and hardware. The estimated value of the 1-year contract is $170,618.07. Prospective vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or contractual services by November 19, 2024.

The justification for this single-source acquisition is that the ICOR robots require proprietary software and hardware upgrades, and there are no other like products available that would attach to the existing robots due to the proprietary design. DFS already uses the ICOR robots and must purchase the upgrades from ICOR to ensure continued proper performance.
