Enertech’s Core Value is Safety. When working at heights starts with training, correct PPE, and 100% tie-off. This is first accomplished by a relentless commitment to training and safety as a core value from the top down. This sets Company goals, structure, planning, and budget.
A cornerstone of Enertech’s safety and training program is a company and subcontractor-wide mandatory weekly phone call where Enertech’s safety director, quality director, and CEO review policies, introduce new ones, and set the focus for the company.
At the management level Enertech attends industry conferences including Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA), Wireless Instruction Association (WIA), International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE), Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED), Association of Police Communications Officers (APCO) and others. Additionally, the management is fully engaged with the latest trends and news through technical journals including RCR, Inside Towers, Above Ground Level (AGL) and many others.
Personnel assigned to climb and engage in on-site activities are required to have training that meets ANSI/OSHA standards and regulations and Enertech requirements. Professional Engineers are required to take continuing education each year to maintain their licenses.
Engineers and field staff are required to take safety training to be on site.
Enertech also mandates training for managers and those filling specialized roles.

The training status for employees (and subcontractors) is monitored through our Field Services Center. Personnel are required to contact the FSC when headed to the site, arriving at the site, and leaving the site. The FSC verifies training requirements and certifications at the time of check in using the Enertech personnel database for training and time tracking. Any personnel that do not have the required certifications are not allowed to work on the site.
The FSC (Field Support Center) is the heartbeat of Enertech Resources. It services Enertech employees, subcontractors, and partner companies.

Summary: Provided various services on 300+ towers Monopole, Self-Supporting, and guyed towers ranging from 80’ to 600’.
Project Description Crown Castle, one of the nation’s largest tower owners, operates and owns 39,739 tower communication structures for the purpose of tenant leasing for public and private wireless communication systems. The Crown Tower Reinforcement Program was aimed at providing additional structural capacity to its assets for the purposes of accommodating the collocation of new tenants. This work was executed in accordance with local, jurisdictional and industry codes and specifications. This premiere program was instituted nationwide on many of its tens of thousands of assets. The project involved reinforcing the structural integrity of communication towers or poles that concurrently provide active communications infrastructure for tenants. Installation planning and execution required coordination, and in some cases field verification, to eliminate service outage or downtime of existing equipment or to coordinate necessary outages to perform field work. Quality and expediency were imperative in this program. Completing work on schedule allowed end customers to meet their growth needs. The Crown reinforcement program specifically for steel poles was considered an industry-leading initiative not only for its breadth, but for the stringent method of procedures and specifications required to implement a consistent program nationwide.
Enertech provides engineering review, structural analysis, field verification, material fabrication, scheduling, and construction services for this Crown Castle project. Specifically, Enertech prepared cost estimates, schedules, mobilized to project locations, secured building permits from local permitting jurisdiction, coordinated access to site, provided field management, construction quality controls, construction inspections, installation field labor, equipment and materials for construction.

Project 10: 440’ Tower Construction
Customer Company Name: DOW Chemical Freeport, TX Start and End dates: 9/1/2015 through 3/15/17 Lead Enertech employee: Dale Shumaker, Project Principal and Brian Lindsey, Project Manager Type of Business: Construction of 440’ SST, elevated shelter, and compound for communication system.
Project Description Working in concert with Motorola, Enertech constructed a 440’ SST, elevated shelter, and compound for the communication system.
The project was in the DOW Freeport facility and required and extensive amount of site specific safety training and coordination to plan and execute the job.
The tower was designed to TIA-222-G Class 3 standards and 140 mph wind. This necessitated a large mat foundation and extensive dewatering project. The size of the tower required a 350-ton crane to stack to 320’ and the use of a gin pole to stack to 440’. The erection required a Class IV Rigging Plan in accordance with TIA-1019-A Standard for Installation, Alteration, and Maintenance of Antenna Supporting Structures and Antennas. This was prepared by the Enertech Engineering Team.
The project also included the construction of a 10’ tall elevated steel platform for a concrete shelter and generator.
