About this file
The document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), solicitation number BPM006379, specifically addressing Capacity Development/Technical Assistance to Small Public Drinking Water Systems. This RFP includes an attachment focused on the Forced Labor of Ethnic Uyghurs Ban, which requires contractors to certify compliance with Arizona Revised Statute § 35-394 regarding labor practices.
The solicitation requires potential contractors to verify they do not use forced labor of ethnic Uyghurs in the People's Republic of China, either directly or through contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers. In this specific instance, KUV Consultants LLC, located in Glendale, Arizona, has identified itself as an "Exempt Contractor" due to having fewer than ten employees. The document provides a mechanism for companies to declare their compliance, with options to affirm non-use of forced labor or acknowledge exemption status based on company size or type.
