About this file
This document is a Procurement Portal Instructions document for Charlotte Water and Storm Water's Construction Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the City of Charlotte. The document provides guidance for vendors on using the city's new electronic solicitation Procurement Portal (Bonfire Hub), detailing registration requirements and submission procedures. Importantly, the instructions explicitly state that NO construction bid submissions are allowed within the Procurement Portal, and all bids must be received according to the specific instructions in the Invitation to Bid.
The document outlines technical requirements for vendor participation, including registering at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com, compatible web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox), and necessary browser settings like enabling JavaScript and cookies. Support resources are provided, including Bonfire's help forum, a support email (Support@GoBonfire.com), and a support phone number (1-800-354-8010). Additionally, vendors are directed to a five-minute training video for guidance on registration and submission processes. The portal is currently in a trial phase for posting solicitations and potentially receiving vendor submissions.
