About this file
This document is a procurement portal instruction guide issued by the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, for vendors submitting bids on the CATS Bus Radiator and Fuel Tank Repair Services contract. The Bus Operations Division seeks a qualified supplier to provide pickup, delivery, and repair services for radiators, charge air coolers, oil coolers, coolant surge tanks, and fuel tanks for CATS buses. The supplier must also furnish replacement parts for these components across various bus models. The City requests a five-year contract term for this service. All vendor submissions must be completed electronically through the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com/opportunities, with submissions due prior to the posted deadline. Vendors are strongly advised to allow at least one week prior to the deadline to upload documents and finalize their submissions, as large file uploads may require significant processing time depending on file size and internet connection speed.
The Bonfire portal instructions specify that all solicitation questions must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Discussions section within the respective project listing on the procurement portal. The portal is compatible with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, with JavaScript and browser cookies required for proper functionality. Technical support is available through Bonfire's help forum at https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/hc/en-us, via email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or by telephone at 1-800-354-8010. The City provides a five-minute training video for vendor registration and submission to assist with the application process.
