About this file
This is a Sole Source Notice issued by Marion County, Florida, regarding the procurement of specialized covert surveillance equipment for law enforcement operations. The notice pertains to a Notice of Intent rather than a formal request for bids or proposals, and Marion County explicitly states it will not consider any responses as proposals, bids, or quotes. The equipment specified includes PTZ Nano Pole Box camera systems with internal modems and battery systems, Lamp Head Concealment camera systems with integrated modems and 10x zoom capabilities, Digital Watchdog Spectrum lifetime software licenses, and associated equipment, materials, and shipping. The purpose of this notice is solely to determine whether bona fide competition exists for these specialized goods and services before proceeding with procurement.
No specific response dates, due dates, bidder meetings, site visits, or award dates are detailed in this sole source notice. The document serves as a preliminary step in the procurement process to assess market competition rather than to solicit actual bids or commitments from vendors. Pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, and funding information are not addressed in this notice, as it functions as a notice of intent to explore available sources for the specialized surveillance equipment needed by Marion County law enforcement operations.
