Given the number of projects being bid and the meetings involved, we believe we can be more strategic in determining when in-person attendance is necessary. To improve efficiency while maintaining appropriate participation and communication, a virtual attendance option is being added for pre-bid meetings. This option is intended to provide flexibility and is not a replacement for attendance or participation when in-person attendance is necessary.
If you plan to attend the pre-bid meeting in person, you MUST email Tracy.Blocker@iowaagriculture.gov by 3:00 PM the day prior to the pre-bid meeting to confirm your in-person attendance.
If no one has indicated that they will attend in person by the deadline, the pre-bid meeting will be held virtually only. No in-person meeting will be held in that circumstance.
Attendance at the pre-bid conference by prospective bidders is not mandatory but is encouraged.
