About this file

This document is an equipment list and bid specification for Wake County, North Carolina's IT Department, focused on a Cisco Catalyst Center and Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) Upgrade Project. The project involves procuring one Cisco Catalyst Center Appliance (Gen 3) with 32 cores, two Cisco Catalyst CW9800M Wireless Controllers, and two 750W AC Redundant Power Supplies. The bid is scheduled for submission on 9/15/25, with all bids required to be submitted through the Bonfire pricing sheet (BT-39RF), and equipment to be delivered to the Wake County Office Building in Raleigh.

Bidding requirements are strict, with vendors mandated to be authorized Cisco Channel Partners and prohibited from adding additional equipment, licenses, or services beyond the specified list. Non-Cisco equipment will not be accepted, and all freight, shipping, and handling costs must be included in the total quote. Vendors must warrant that all Cisco products are new, sourced directly from Cisco or authorized channel sales, and must be prepared to provide Cisco's end user license agreement. The procurement emphasizes original licensing and compliance with Cisco's requirements for product sale and pricing.
