Amendment 000001

National Nuclear Security Administration Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program Tribal Education Partnership Program Funding Opportunity Announcement DE-FOA-0002368

PROVISIONS OF AMENDMENT 000001

Under the current FOA, it has been brought to NNSA’s attention that information regarding who may participate as subrecipients had conflicting information. NNSA agreed with the conflicting information statement.

The purpose of Amendment 000001 is to revise Section I – FUNDING OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION, Subsection C. Description of a Consortium-Based Model Focused on Research Relative to STEM Education on page 11 which reads as follows:

A Consortium includes at a minimum, two or more four-year Minority Serving colleges and/or universities (restricted to TCUs) and a DOE/NNSA National Laboratory, Plant, or Site. The maximum number of university partners per topic area must not exceed 4 colleges and/or universities (one Lead college/university partner and up to a maximum of three sub-awardees) and the maximum

To be revised to read as follows:

A Consortium includes at a minimum, two or more Tribal Colleges and Universities (restricted to TCUs as lead institutions), other Minority Serving Institutions (restricted to Hispanic Serving Institutions and Historically Black Colleges and Universities) as sub-recipients, and a DOE/NNSA National Laboratory, Plant, or Site. The maximum number of university partners per topic area must not exceed 4 colleges and/or universities (one Lead college/university partner and up to a maximum of three sub-awardees) and the maximum number of industry partners should not exceed 3 DOE/NNSA National Laboratories/Sites.
