About this file

This document is Addendum #1 to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for an engineering project to construct pile footings and a retaining wall at the Klamath Hatchery. The addendum addresses questions raised during the pre-bid meeting and provides clarifications, including that no asbestos liability endorsement is required, the road can handle legal truck loading, the contractor is responsible for safety signage and fencing, submittal reviews will be expedited, and Build America Buy America does not apply. The original ITB closing date and time remain unchanged.

The project scope includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, permits, and services required to complete the pile foundation and retaining wall work. Contractors are advised that alternative pile types will not be considered, and specifications for pile testing are provided. The ODFW has confirmed that the specified pipe piles are readily available despite material availability concerns.
