3.1 Introduction

This section details the electrical power requirements for the Mk113 Gun Mount.

3.2 Installation Data

3.2.1 Power Requirements of the Mk113 Gun Mount

The equipment requires the following power supplies:

1. Gun Mounting 115V 50/60 Hz 1Phase.

2. Gun Mounting 115V 50/60 Hz 1Phase.

Supply 1 is required at all times to internally condition the gun mounting.

Supply 2 is required at all times to charge batteries in the gun mounting.

Refer to Table 3.1 for details of:

• Voltage

• Frequency

• Number of phases

• Maximum continuous load

• Starting (surge) current

• Surge duration

• Power factor

Power supplies shall be in accordance with MIL STD 1399.

3.2.2 Power Supply Isolation

A lockable isolating switch for each supply is recommended and should be located in the vicinity of the gun mount (customer supply).

3.2.3 Supply Connection to Earth

Supplies below have live conductors unearthed:

1. 1 phase supply expected resistance to earth 1 MΩ.
