AIR COMPRESSOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Concepts and Experimentation branch (B64) requires Preventive Maintenance (PM) on two (2) air compressors and two (2) dryers manufactured by Gardner-Denver, Inc. The equipment utilized by the chemical and biological laboratories utilize dry, compressed air for various processes and equipment that must be maintained in order to continue essential laboratory operations.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The contractor shall be an OEM authorized distributor certified to perform maintenance on Gardner-Denver compressor equipment.
3.2 The contractor shall provide semi-annual preventative maintenance service for Gardner-Denver compressed air equipment located at the NSWCDD in Dahlgren, Virginia, including the following two (2) compressors and two (2) dryers:
Gardner-Denver VR7F-8 Reciprocating Shop Compressor, S/N D133051 Gardner-Denver ELB99C Rotary Screw Compressor, S/N D084152 Gardner-Denver GDHM50-11 Dryer, S/N 03-2011-15275 Gardner-Denver RNC25A2C1N1 Dryer, S/N 1000002971611
3.3 The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance parts for the Gardner-Denver ELB99C Rotary Screw Compressor.
3.4 The contractor shall coordinate all tasks with the technical point of contact identified in section 6.0.
4.0 SECURITY
The work to be performed under this contract is unclassified.
5.0 TRAVEL
The contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated: One (1) repair technician to travel from Ashland, VA to Dahlgren, VA two (2) times a year for the duration of this contract.
