About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services for Fuel Station Inspection Services, targeting the replacement of the current statewide contract #01917 expiring on May 14, 2025. The RFI seeks input from potential contractors regarding inspection, testing, and minor maintenance repair work for fuel stations across Washington State, covering gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, and ethanol stations. The RFI requests responses by April 4, 2025, and is structured to gather information on three potential service categories: inspection only, maintenance and repair only, or both inspection and maintenance. The contract will serve state agencies and qualifying organizations that have signed the Contracts Usage Agreement, with the scope specifically excluding tank installation or removal.
The RFI aims to collect detailed information from potential vendors, including service capabilities, geographic coverage, pricing structures, certifications, response times, parts availability, and sustainability practices. Respondents are asked to provide insights on pricing components such as transportation, labor rates, and potential volume discounts, as well as their insurance coverages and value-added services. The document emphasizes that submission is voluntary and does not guarantee future contract award, with all submitted materials considered public records. The State of Washington is particularly interested in understanding the market's capacity to provide comprehensive, regulatory-compliant fuel station inspection and maintenance services across the state.
