1.10 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Three complete structures shall be provided, as listed below:

2. DRAWING. Structures shall conform to enclosed WAPA Standard Drawing 41 6119, Rev. A, “Type

HA-GL 230kV Angle Suspension Structure” with the following exceptions.

(1) All structures shall be designed for a 5°-line angle.

(2) The steel angle, U-bolts and chain links shall be provided assembled.

(3) Pole to crossarm, knee brace and steel angle, attachment bolts shall be 7/8” diameter. Pole to crossarm double arming bolts shall be of adequate length to accommodate grounding assembly, which includes 7/8” bonding clip (Hughes Brothers part number 2727.8), nut and locknut, #2 AWG solid soft drawn copperweld wire (grounding assembly provided by WAPA).

3. Drawing Submittal. Approval and Final Drawings shall be submitted to:

4. PACKAGING. All packages shall be marked ‘SCDN_HAGL’.

5. DELIVERY. Delivery shall be made within the following times: Mondays 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Tuesdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Wednesdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and Thursdays 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, excluding federal holidays, and shall be coordinated with Western’s Point of Contact, with notification a minimum of seven days and again 48 hours prior to delivery.

Poles, crossarms and braces shall be shipped to the primary address below. If additional deliveries are required for hardware items, the shipping location shall be coordinated with Western, and will be to the primary or secondary address.
