About this file
This document is a Price Response Attachment for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Unclaimed Property. The RFP is seeking qualified vendors to provide securities property management services. The selected respondent will be compensated on the basis of commissions charged for the sale or other liquidation of the Department's unclaimed securities. The Department intends to authorize the selected respondent to deduct the commissions from the proceeds of securities sales. During a Delayed Liquidation Period, the selected respondent may charge a Transaction Fee, on a per transaction basis, for securities that it reissues or transfers back to claimants as directed by the Department.
The Price Proposal requires respondents to provide a rate for the Maximum Allowed Commissions and Transaction Costs, which will be a percentage of the total dollar value of sales or liquidation proceeds realized by the Department. Respondents must also provide proposed Transaction Fees for the initial contract term and any renewal period, as well as the number of free transactions that will be provided.
