Summary of Changes

NN RFQ part Question Responses 1 Section C and

J Please provide a floor plan with the dimensions

It’ll be provided later to the selected contractor.

2 Section C The SOW and BOQ has discrepancies, please align the SOW with the BOQ

Please be specific.

3 Section C Is here a need to reduce the current concrete floors height in order to add new concrete of top of the current concrete floors?

Read BOQ NN 1. Yes. The entire floor must be the same finished height, with concrete. This is a production facility, you cannot have ridges, lips, bumps, dips etc due to the production carts.

4 Section C Why the wooden floors need to be removed? They can be fixed and restored.

Not appropriate question for a contractor, it’s SID business. The wood floor is not conducive to a production facility. This is a production facility, not a warehouse.

Wood is an organic material that changes dimensions and is uneven.

When the building was made in 1936 as a warehouse that was fine. We have carts with products to move manually and the wood floor creates vibration and quality damage to the material on the carts when they are moved.

5 Section B What's the price magnitude of this project?

Read RFQ

6 Section C Can we mix the concrete in the building?

No, See the SOW

Section C What's the time frame (Day or Night)?

Do we need to work on the weekends?

Read SOW Part 3. 7AM-5 PM M-TH.

7AM-3 PM FRI-SU.

8 Section C Do you have parking for contractors?

Can contractors use the existing bathrooms next to the floors site?

What type of vehicle will the contractor have? A van or small truck stay all day. A parking permit should be signed out by the front desk Police of Building D every morning.

Yes, two bathrooms.

9 Section C During the site visit the vendors were instructed to include the corridor and the lunch room into the SOW, this instruction is cancelled

Correct, the hallway and lunchroom are not part of this project. See the

SOW.

10 Section C How the installation of the airtight temporary wall will be working with the current AC systems in place?

Temperature room will be kept in the working area.

11 Section C Will the contractor be required to remove the revolving tunicate door or the GPO will remove the door?

Turnstile will not be removed. It will be turned off so it can be turned manually to work in the area.

12 Section C How the connections between the floors and the columns shall be finished?

The contractor should give us the options, then we can select one of them.

13 Attachment BOQ / Bill of Quantities

Please confirm if the additional 1600 sq ft of Epoxy will be for concrete that is already existing in the break room and the entry hallway to the main workspace. Please confirm if GPO only wants a new color of epoxy.

Breakroom and the hallway are not included in SOW.

14 Section C The SOW states that we will not be able to mix concrete in the workspace due to dust. Please, confirm that mixing cannot be done in the space.

See the SOW. We cannot have silica and dust in our environment. It must be mixed outside.

15 Section C Please confirm if GPO personnel will be out of the workspace and if doors or storage rooms that may need to be accessed will be blocked off during this work.

GPO personal will be working on another half of the second floor. All rooms and storages will be blocked.

16 Section C Please specify if GPO will provide drawings and accurate measurements of the site.

Yes, to the selected contractor.

17 Section C Please specify if working personnel will have access to restroom facilities.

Yes, three are two restrooms in the corner of the workplace.
