About this file
Attachment J1 is a detailed requirements worksheet for an Active Directory Recovery Manager solicitation (030ADV25Q0171) issued by the Library of Congress. The government seeks fourteen thousand (14,000) Quest brand Recovery Manager for AD domain LIB licenses or an equivalent product that meets specific technical requirements for Active Directory backup and recovery. The solution must support Windows Server versions 2016-2022, provide granular backup capabilities at the object and attribute level, enable rapid restoration of AD objects without restarting domain controllers, and include features such as pinpointing changes, assigning restore tasks, sharing configuration data, and generating detailed recovery reports.
The worksheet instructs offerors to complete a matrix indicating whether their proposed solution meets each technical requirement, with options to propose either the Quest brand solution or an equivalent product. Vendors must specify the device name, model, part number, and clarify if they are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or authorized reseller. If proposing an equivalent solution, vendors must demonstrate that their product meets ALL salient characteristics by providing detailed descriptions in the designated column. The solicitation requires the selected solution to include 24/7 maintenance and support comprehensive Active Directory recovery and management functionalities.
