Question # Question Responses

Will you supply basic training in using the PrePub Book Link? Yes

Will the contractor be using electronic versions of book galleys to create CIP records? How will those be accessible?

The book galleys are available in PrePub Book Link. Training (above) will include how to view and work with the galleys.

Page 4, Section B.1, the Schedule states that period of performance begins on 6/30/2022;

however the incumbent contract is valid through September. Can the Library please clarify this discrepancy?

This is not a discrepancy; the Library will have two contracts in place with a brief overlap period.

Section C, to perform the work remotely it indicates appropriate security protocols will be followed to allow for this access to occur, are there any technical requirements to access PrePub Book Link remotely?

There are no technical requirements to access PrePub Book Link remotely.

It's a web-based application.

Page 21, H.7 references an "Alternate Project Manager" (APM) as one of the Key Personnel.

This position is not referenced anywhere else in the RFP. Can the government clarify if an APM is Key Personnel and if so, will the Library please provide instructions as the APM's qualifications & duties.

An amendment will be issued to clarify this information. The APM is not essential; may be removed as one of the key personnel.

Page 51, Section L.1.4(c), the instructions state that Volume 1 "shall not exceed 30 pages in length, not including the cover page, table of contents, or resumes. More than two (2) pages each." Will the government please confirm that the phrase "More than two (2) pages each refers to the page limit for resumes?

An amendment will be issued to clarify this information. The selected language presented is incomplete; the last statement notes the following: "… contents, or resumes. Resumes limited to no more than two (2) pages each.)"
