C.1. OVERVIEW / BACKGROUND:
The Library of Congress (Library) requires contract support to expand the storage capacity of the Quantum storage system currently in use by the Multimedia Group (MMG). In 2017, the Quantum system was selecting as the storage system which was a part of a larger project undertaken by MMG. In FY19, MMG required contract support to successfully reconfigure the Quantum system to allow for access within a private VLAN. MMG is seeking to expanding the current capacity of the system to support larger media formats be-ing used, and to aid in support remote work by its staff. Engineers from Diversified designed the configuration of the system along with Quantum. Both of the Quantum projects, system commissioning and the reconfiguration of VLAN access were performed by Di-versified.

This support level provides 24x7 technical support, re-mote support, priority on-site critical response, delivery and installation of replacement parts. The support period must cover a period of three (3) years from the effective date of the system installation.
