This is a new contract with no incumbent contractor, and Caltrans has established a budget of $200,000 for these services. The payment terms are Net 45 upon receipt of undisputed invoice and certified payroll report. Caltrans will provide supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps, urinal tabs and dispenser batteries, but the contractor must provide all cleaning supplies, equipment and trash liners. The contractor must comply with prevailing wage requirements and mandatory organic waste recycling provisions. Specific service frequencies are outlined in detail, including thrice-weekly bathroom cleaning, monthly window washing, and twice-yearly carpet extraction and floor refinishing work.
