About this file
This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for RFQ 75H71025Q00155, issued by the Gallup Indian Medical Center Acquisition Department. The amendment provides detailed questions and answers for a pediatric physician services contract. Key details include:
The solicitation is for an outpatient pediatrician position at Gallup Indian Medical Center, with a work schedule of 8:00am-4:30pm, seeing 15-20 patients per day. The position is 100% clinic-based with no inpatient rounding, night call, or weekend coverage required. The contract appears to be adding a new pediatrician to the current staff, with the new position starting around 5/26/2025. Support staff will include a nurse supervisor, multiple RNs, HTs, NAs, MSAs, and a case manager. The physician may consult or admit patients to inpatient providers if a child requires hospitalization from the outpatient clinic.

RFQ 75H71025Q00155 - Questions and Answers
1. Question: Is this physician going to work in the clinic 100% of the time or is there an inpatient rounding requirement in the hospital?
Answer: 100% clinic/outpatient (no inpatient rounding)
2. Question:
What are the typical hours of work?
Answer: 8:00am-4:30pm
3. Question: How many patients are typically seen in a clinic (or inpatient) per day?
Answer: 20 patients
4. Question: Are there any options for 10 hour or 12 hour shifts?
Answer: No
5. Question: Does the pediatrician has to work or cover on a night call or weekend?
Answer: No
6. Question: Is there a current pediatrician contractor currently working in Gallup?
Answer: Yes
7. Question: Are the 20 patients seen in the clinic per each physician or 2 physicians combined will see 20 patients?
Answer: Anywhere from 15-20 patients can be scheduled and seen per 1 physician
8. Question: Quick question for you on the Gallup Peds solicitation – I believe Gallup has two Pediatricians there right now on contract that I can see but maybe more but I can’t tell. From the looks of it, one of them is through 9/30 and the other through 10/30. I think Gallup is down 5 FTE’s at the moment. Is this solicitation in addition to the two that are there right now or is this for the two that you want to keep on?
Answer: The Outpatient Pediatrician starting 10/1/2025 is the same position as the one ending 9/30/2025. The Outpatient Pediatrician with a period of performance to start on or around 5/26/2025 is in addition to a current award.
9. Question: What is the expectation for consults with the ED and inpatient departments?
Answer: The provider will not be consulted by ED or inpatient providers, but they will be consulting and/or admitting to our inpatient provider if that makes sense (ie if they see a child who is sick and requiring hospitalization from the outpatient clinic)
10. Question: What support staff will be available in the outpatient clinic?
Answer: We have a nurse supervisor, multiple RNs, HTs, NAs, MSAs, and a case manager
