TITLE: BAND AND ORCHESTRA INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT,
BELL COVERS, AND MUSICIAN FACE COVER MASKS
The above IFB is amended as follows. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN THE SAME. The purpose of this addendum is to provide response to questions to the IFB.
Response to question:
1. For Band & Orchestra substitutions, is a website link that includes descriptions/specs sufficient (for "substitute sample included")? If not, how would you like this communicated?
Answer: Physical samples are required for any PPE (masks and bell covers) and instrument substitutions.
Samples provided for any band and orchestra instrument substitution is required for physical inspection and play testing. If samples cannot be delivered on the due date and time, please state when samples can be provided.
Please include a document of your choice that clearly describes your substituted items. A website link is acceptable.
2. On the B&O spreadsheet, what is meant by "** Bidders shall offer a percentage discount on their catalog of items not listed on the Bid Form and submit this form in Excel format only." We can certainly offer special discounts, but it would vary by product and we have thousands of products. Would a statement verifying that discounts will be provided for PGCPS be acceptable?
Answer: Bidder(s) should clearly identify the discounted percentage and items in their bid response.
Submitting discounts by categories or subcategories will be accepted.
Please submit your Bid Form in MS Excel format only. Do not send a pdf file. Bids that do not meet or exceed all requirements will be considered non-responsive.
Bidders must complete, sign, and return two copies of this Addendum or Appendix G – Addenda Acknowledgement with their proposal response. Failure to do so MAY be cause for your offer to be ruled non-responsive and not considered for award.
If your Bid has already been submitted and, because of this Addendum, you desire to modify your offer, you may do so by letter or email provided such notice makes reference to this Addendum and is received prior to the time specified for return of Bid.
