About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) for a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Florida Department of Financial Services (the Department) related to Insurance Dispute Data Analytics. The RFI seeks information from experienced vendors on the feasibility and cost of creating a replacement Legal Service of Process (LSOP) Portal versus leveraging the existing LSOP Portal to feed data into an analytics interface that offers reporting capabilities. The Q&A provides responses to 128 questions submitted by vendors covering topics such as required vendor experience, system functionality, user access, data management, reporting, and technical features. The Department has extended the RFI response deadline to September 28, 2023 to allow time for the Q&A document to be posted.
The Department does not have firm requirements at this time and is interested in the information provided by the vendor community. Regarding pricing, the Department does not require separate pricing for creating a replacement LSOP Portal versus leveraging the existing LSOP Portal, but vendors may provide that if desired. The Department has allocated a projected budget of $900,000 for the potential future competitive solicitation. The Department is open to both on-premise and cloud-based solutions, without a preference for any particular cloud vendor.
