The Patuxent Wildlife Research Center (PWRC) needs to buy a new Jon boat to replace a worn-out boat that is no longer serviceable – as described in the accompanying Justification document. The new Jon boat will be paired with an existing new outboard engine and put to use immediately in support of an on-going research project. This purchase request is intended to solicit bids for a new Jon boat hull and engine rigging parts but NOT the outboard engine. The Requester (PWRC) will install an existing 60 Hp Yamaha engine after receiving delivery of the new hull. Bids are to include the hull, hull options, engine rigging parts (steering and engine controller) and delivery of the new boat to PWRC in Laurel MD.
