About this file

This is an addendum document issued by Douglas County, Georgia, for the SR 166 @ Chapel Hill Road Project (P.I. # 0020661), a roundabout construction initiative at the intersection of SR 166 and Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville, GA. The addendum provides supplementary utility documents and information necessary for bidders to prepare accurate proposals for the construction work. The project encompasses furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment required for roundabout construction, including approaches along Chapel Hill Road. The addendum clarifies utility locations, constraints, and coordination requirements that contractors must address in their bids to ensure proper execution of the work while avoiding conflicts with existing infrastructure.

The addendum documents establish critical requirements for contractors regarding utility identification, protection, and coordination with utility companies operating in the project area. Contractors must account for all identified utilities in their cost estimates, scheduling, and construction methodology. These utility documents serve as binding reference materials that become part of the contract specifications, ensuring all bidders have access to the same information regarding underground and above-ground utilities that may impact construction activities, timelines, and project costs.
