About this file

This is a Request for Bid (RFB) form from the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for on-call Region 2 paving services. The project, designated as Request for Bid Number S-73000-00014665, involves 3-inch inlay paving on Oregon Route 47 from milepoint 29.85 to 30.26, south of Gaston and north of Yamhill in Yamhill County. The work addresses fire damage to the roadway and must be completed by September 30, 2025. Bids are due by August 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The project includes seven pay items: mobilization (1 lump sum), temporary work zone traffic control (1 lump sum), pollution control plan (1 lump sum), cold plane pavement removal at 3 inches deep (4,523 square yards), Level 3 1/2-inch dense asphalt concrete mixture PG64-22 (763 tons), hi-build paint for surface treatment (7,128 linear feet), and continuous rumble strips (0.41 miles). The project requires compliance with Oregon's domestic preference requirements under ORS 279C.303 and the State Buy America Provisions outlined in Price Agreement Exhibit A. Contractors must pay prevailing wage rates as established by the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries for Yamhill County, effective July 5, 2025. Contractors must hold a valid CCB (Construction Contractors Board) license and enter their unit prices and total prices for all bid items in the RFB/Work Order form, which must be uploaded to the OregonBuys platform. ODOT's Project Manager is Cody Stone (503-953-6334; Cody.Stone@ODOT.Oregon.gov). The work order will not be effective until signed by ODOT's Procurement Authority and a notice to proceed is issued. Payment will be based on actual quantities performed rather than estimated quantities.
