About this file
This document is a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for an On-Call Region 2 Paving project. The specific project involves a continuous 2" inlay paving on OR126 from Mile Point 11 to Mile Point 13 at the Linn/Lane County line, covering the full width shoulder to shoulder. The bid is scheduled to be due on 4/25/2025 at 4:00 pm, with a required completion date of June 30, 2025. The project includes several key work items: mobilization, temporary work zone traffic control, pollution control plan, cold plane pavement removal (37,511 square yards), Level 3 ACP mixture (4,220 tons), and hi-build paint application (32,782 linear feet).
The project has specific compliance requirements, including domestic preference provisions under ORS 279C.303 and prevailing wage rate standards dated January 5, 2025. Traffic management is tightly controlled, with restrictions on holiday and weekend closures, and requirements for portable changeable message signs to be placed at least 7 days in advance of any lane closures. Contractors must submit bids through OregonBuys, completing the bid form with unit and total prices for all listed bid items. The work order will not be effective until signed by ODOT's Procurement Authority, and actual payment will be based on quantities of services actually performed.
