Question #1 Do all the loading docks require a canopy, regardless of the size of a garage door, for example in an instance that a garage door is large enough to fit a reversed truck inside the loading dock?
Answer #1: Section 1.I.8.1 of the solicitation states, “ There must be a minimum of two fully covered loading/unloading docks, with sufficient canopy cover to protect assets and personnel from the elements” The intent of this requirement is to ensure that assets are protected from the elements when being loaded and off loaded. As long as a solution fulfills this requirement, it will be deemed acceptable.
Question #2: Are there any concise specifications as to how the shelving space is to be arranged?
Answer #2: No, as long as a shelving solution fulfills the requirements for warehouse space as defined in section 1 of the solicitation, it will be deemed acceptable.
Question #3: Which blocks need to be filled out on the SF1449 and how are blocks 19-24 required to be completed?
Answer #3: Section 3.A.1 of the solicitation states, “.offer must consist of the following; A completed solicitation, in which the SF-1449 cover page (blocks 12, 17, 19-24, and 30 as appropriate), and Section 1 has been filled out”. For Block 19-24, since block 20 states “See all Line items”, only block 24 needs to be completed with the total proposal price that includes all option years and taxes.
Question #4: Does the offeror need to sign anywhere on the SF30 form for amendment 0001?
Answer #4: No, amendment 0001 is a unilateral amendment that does not require the offeror to sign it.
