UNSPSC 95122102: Flat or apartment

An instance of many single family residences in the same building

UNSPSC 95122102 Flat or apartment, a Commodity code, does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged to it. The opportunities in the source reflect residential construction, rehabilitation, and infrastructure work — new home construction, historic home rehabilitation, disaster recovery mobile home replacement, and facility renovations — none of which fall within the scope of buying or leasing completed flat or apartment units as a commodity.

The code shows little relevant recent activity; the fifteen opportunities posted between August and October 2026 across Brevard County, Escambia County, Orange County, Seminole County, Santa Clara County, Collier County, Georgia, and other jurisdictions are consistently misclassified under this UNSPSC code when the actual procurement is for construction and renovation services — a Family-level or Segment-level coding error rather than a Commodity-code classification suitable for purchase of housing units themselves. State and local governments pursuing contractor services for residential construction should monitor Family codes within the Building and Facility Construction and Maintenance Segments instead.
