UNSPSC 73181113: Zinc aluminum organic coating service

UNSPSC 73181113 Zinc aluminum organic coating service is a Commodity code. The recent state and local opportunities posted under this code show no solicitation activity aligned with its nominal scope of metallic protective coatings. The four most recent records—Rob Sullivan Park irrigation system installation (City of DeBary, Florida, IFB, April 2026), Tuscawilla Alum Treatment System removal (City of Ocala, Florida, ITB, April 2026), and two HVAC system replacements for the Georgia Department of Driver Services (February 2026)—are unrelated to zinc aluminum organic coating services. The code exhibits little relevant procurement activity in the recent state and local contract opportunity record.

The geographic activity shown spans Florida and Georgia, but the opportunities themselves fall outside the code's intended commodity scope: one involves park irrigation infrastructure conversion, another covers stormwater treatment equipment demolition, and two address building HVAC system replacement and removal. State and local procurement databases periodically tag opportunities with codes that do not match the work being solicited; this code appears to be an example of that mismatch. Practitioners evaluating zinc aluminum organic coating services should monitor the code for future activity, but the present record does not support near-term pursuit under this taxonomy.
