UNSPSC 73152002: Aerosol filling services

UNSPSC 73152002 Aerosol filling services, a Commodity code, shows minimal alignment between its nominal scope and recent state and local procurement activity. The three most recent opportunities tagged under this code consist of water treatment equipment procurement (a rate-of-flow controller and butterfly valve assembly) and OVA storage, neither of which involves aerosol filling. The mismatch suggests either miscoding at the source or that this Commodity code captures tangential or legacy procurements that do not reflect current purchasing patterns in aerosol filling services. State and local procurement activity under this code does not support a meaningful business development strategy focused on the code's stated purpose.

The City of Lubbock, Texas, posted an ITB (26-19653-YB) on May 27, 2026, for replacement water treatment equipment—a 16-inch venturi-type flow controller and butterfly valve assembly meeting AWWA C504 and ASTM A536 specifications for potable water application at the North Water Treatment Plant, with a non-mandatory site visit on May 20, 2026. The City of Philadelphia issued a micro purchase (B2626859) on April 10, 2026, for OVA storage, with a submission deadline of April 24, 2026, and a total quote limit not to exceed $43,000. Geographic activity is limited to Texas and Pennsylvania in the available records. Without consistent or substantial opportunities that align with aerosol filling scope, this code merits only selective monitoring for mislabeled aerosol work rather than active pursuit.
