UNSPSC 73141707: Woven suits or coats or overcoats manufacturing services

UNSPSC 73141707 Woven suits or coats or overcoats manufacturing services is a Commodity code under which state and local governments procure custom or bespoke tailoring and garment manufacturing for official wear, uniforms, and formal apparel. The code covers fabrication of woven outerwear from specification — pattern grading, cutting, sewing, pressing, and finishing of suits, sport coats, overcoats, and related structured garments from client-supplied or vendor-sourced materials. State and local issuing bodies using this code include municipal governments, law enforcement and fire departments, transit authorities, and agencies requiring dress uniforms or ceremonial attire for personnel. Scope varies from small runs of departmental formal wear to larger uniform contracts for public safety agencies.

The source provided contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to this code. Without posted RFPs, RFQs, ITBs, or IFBs in the dataset, geographic concentration and representative solicitation activity cannot be characterized. Firms monitoring this code should track state purchasing offices, city procurement bureaus, and municipal and county human resources departments for uniform modernization cycles and dress-code policy updates that typically precede formal solicitation.
