UNSPSC 60124305: Kiln accessories for firing ceramics

UNSPSC 60124305 Kiln accessories for firing ceramics is a Commodity code under which state and local governments purchase electric pottery kilns, kiln furniture packages (ceramic shelves and posts), ventilation systems, and related equipment for arts and recreation programming. The recent solicitation activity shows school districts and county recreation departments as the primary buying bodies, typically sourcing complete kiln systems with integrated accessories through competitive quotes and cooperative purchasing vehicles rather than procuring accessories in isolation.

Gwinnett County, Georgia issued a competitive quote (IFB) in September 2026 for two L&L Kilns Easy-Fire e28T-3 electric pottery kilns with complete furniture and ventilation packages for its Department of Parks and Recreation, with quotes due September 25, 2026. Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative, a Texas education service center, posted a catalog discount bid (ITB) on June 15, 2026 for educational activities and supplies including kiln-related items, serving multiple school districts within the cooperative's network with an estimated two-year expenditure of $40.677 billion across 136 previous awards through August 20, 2028. Recent activity concentrates in Texas and Georgia, with purchasing patterns favoring bundled kiln-and-accessory packages rather than standalone accessory procurement.
