UNSPSC 60111303: Italic letters or numbers

UNSPSC 60111303 Italic letters or numbers is a Commodity code covering printed or digital characters in italic typeface — a narrow product line with minimal direct procurement activity in state and local government. State and local agencies do not typically solicit italic letters or numbers as standalone line items; when they appear in solicitations, they are embedded within broader printing, signage, or document-production contracts where typeface specification is a minor component of scope rather than the primary deliverable. The code represents a highly granular taxonomy entry that rarely surfaces as a distinct procurement object.

The most recent state and local contract opportunities block contains no recorded solicitations under this code. This absence reflects the fundamental mismatch between the code's specificity — a single typographic presentation — and the way state and local procurement actually structures printing and signage work, where font selection is a design decision within larger RFPs, IFBs, or ITBs for document services, signage fabrication, or branding work. Firms pursuing state and local printing, document production, or signage contracts should monitor higher-tier Family and Class codes in the printing and signage segments rather than expect direct activity under this Commodity code.
