UNSPSC 60111205: Die cut shaped scalloped borders or trimmers

UNSPSC 60111205 Die cut shaped scalloped borders or trimmers is a Commodity code covering specialized cutting and finishing tools used in print finishing, paper products, and craft applications. State and local governments purchase these items primarily through school districts and educational supply channels for classroom use in art, design, and craft programs, though municipal parks and recreation departments and public libraries also procure them for community programming and maker spaces. The code encompasses hand-operated and rotary cutting devices that produce decorative edge treatments on paper, cardboard, and lightweight materials — tools commonly used in K–12 art curricula, special education programs, and after-school enrichment activities.

The recent opportunities block contains no posted solicitations under this code, indicating minimal procurement activity at the state and local level during the current review period. Demand for this commodity appears concentrated in routine educational supply purchasing through existing vendor contracts and cooperative purchasing vehicles rather than standalone RFP or IFB processes. Firms pursuing this code should monitor school district procurement portals and state educational cooperative purchasing lists for blanket-purchase or annual-supply renewal cycles, where these items are typically bundled with broader art and craft supplies rather than solicited as standalone line items.
