UNSPSC 50564916: Non GMO hamlin orange purees

The variety of non GMO oranges known as non GMO hamlin oranges which have been pureed

UNSPSC 50564916 Non GMO Hamlin Orange Purees is a Commodity code that sees minimal recent activity aligned with its narrow scope. The single recent opportunity posted under this code—a Texas Health and Human Services Commission procurement for food and consumable products serving the El Paso State Supported Living Center—does not reference citrus purees or orange products specifically; it spans broad NIGP food service categories (385, 390, 380, 393) and historical spend of $1.5 million, suggesting the code assignment does not reflect the actual work being solicited. State and local procurement activity tagged to this code does not support a current market for non-GMO orange purees as a standalone commodity.

The source material contains no additional opportunities specifically requesting Hamlin orange purees or comparable citrus juice concentrates, and the single tangentially related food-service procurement does not establish demand for this product category. State purchasing offices, school districts, and correctional departments in recent notices focus on broad grocery baskets, fresh produce, canned applesauce, and food-service commodities across multiple categories rather than specialized citrus ingredients. Without evidence of active, regular solicitation under this code, pursuit is not supported by current market signals.
