UNSPSC 50481827: Ettinger avocado purees

The variety of avocados known as ettinger avocados which have been pureed.

UNSPSC 50481827 Ettinger avocado purees, a Commodity code, does not appear in recent state and local procurement activity. The source contains no solicitations specifically requesting avocado purees or Ettinger avocado products from state agencies, county governments, municipalities, school districts, transit authorities, or special-purpose districts.

The code shows little relevant recent activity. State and local food service procurement—represented in the source by school nutrition programs, corrections facilities, and health and human services departments across Illinois, Texas, Oregon, Missouri, and Georgia—focuses on broad food supply contracts encompassing proteins, produce, dairy, grains, and prepared entrees purchased through IFBs, RFPs, and RFQs with response windows ranging from mid-March through late June 2026. Produce categories solicited include fresh fruits and vegetables, canned tomatoes, and eggs; none of the recent opportunities target specialized avocado products or purees. The absence of Ettinger avocado purees from active procurement signals either minimal demand from state and local food service operations or a mismatch between the code assignment and the work actually being bought.
