UNSPSC 50397107: Organic cloudberry purees

The variety of organic fruit known as organic cloudberries which have been pureed.

UNSPSC 50397107 Organic cloudberry purees is a Commodity code that represents a narrow product category with minimal recent state and local procurement activity. The recent opportunities block contains no solicitations explicitly matching the code's nominal scope of organic cloudberry purées. The opportunities tagged under this code instead describe general fruit, produce, and food service procurement spanning applesauce, dried fruit bars, fresh produce, eggs, and various food and consumable products for correctional facilities, state hospitals, supported living centers, and school districts across multiple states.

The absence of cloudberry-specific demand in the recent opportunities record indicates this code sees little relevant activity in state and local procurement right now. Buyers in this market are soliciting apples, berries, citrus, and other mainstream produce categories through school nutrition programs, correctional-facility food service, and health and human services operations in Oregon, Texas, Georgia, Connecticut, Missouri, and Illinois, but none of the posted opportunities target organic cloudberry products specifically. The mismatch between the code's name and the actual goods being procured suggests either assignment error in the source data or that this particular commodity rarely appears in state and local solicitations.
