UNSPSC 50385126: Kakhi kakri melon purees

The variety of melons known as kakhi kakri melons which have been pureed.

UNSPSC 50385126 Kaki melon purees (Commodity) shows minimal recent relevant state and local procurement activity. The code's nominal scope—kaki or kakri melon purees—does not match the actual work solicited under it. Recent opportunities posted under or near this code cover canned applesauce, dried fruit bars, fresh produce, fresh eggs, and broad food-service commodities for correctional facilities, state health agencies, and school districts, but none specifically solicit kaki melon purees or melon purees of any kind.

The mismatch between code label and actual procurement suggests the code may be misapplied in state and local systems, or the sourcing activity for melon purees occurs through broader commodity or produce classifications. School districts, state departments of corrections, state health and human services agencies, and county school systems drive the majority of food-service procurement activity visible in recent notices, but their purchases focus on staple proteins, fresh produce, dairy, grains, and prepared entrees rather than specialty or processed melon products. Without evidence of active melon-puree-specific solicitations, this code presents limited pursuit opportunity at this time.
