UNSPSC 50383310: Khustawi date purees

The variety of dates known as khustawi dates which have been pureed.

UNSPSC 50383310 Khustawi date purees is a Commodity code for a specialized fruit product with minimal recent state and local solicitation activity under this specific code designation. The source contains no recent opportunities explicitly requesting Khustawi date purees or date purees of any type. The recent state and local opportunities tagged under this code in fact solicit canned applesauce, fresh produce, general food commodities, dried fruit bars, and assorted shelf-stable food items for schools, corrections facilities, veterans' homes, health services agencies, and county nutrition programs—none of which represent date purees as a distinct line item or procurement category.

The mismatch between the code's nominal scope (Khustawi date purees) and the actual recent opportunities suggests this code either sees no active state or local procurement activity for this product, or the code has been applied inconsistently in the source data. State and local procurement professionals evaluating this code should verify the correct UNSPSC designation for date purees or related products before pursuing opportunities, as the code as currently defined does not reflect actionable recent market demand in state or local food service contracting.
