UNSPSC 50375851: Canned or jarred organic marked black plums

The variety of organic plums known as organic marked black plums that have been canned or jarred for preservation.

UNSPSC 50375851 Canned or jarred organic marked black plums (Commodity) does not show meaningful state and local procurement activity grounded in the actual code's scope. The single named opportunity—Oregon Department of Corrections ITB S-29100-00017453 for canned fruit applesauce, due July 31, 2026—is plainly unrelated to organic black plums; the remaining opportunities in the dataset span fresh produce, dried fruit bars, weekly food orders, and broad food-service categories that do not align with the commodity code's nominal definition.

The available records show scattered food-procurement activity across state departments (Oregon Corrections, Texas Health and Human Services, Illinois Chief Procurement Office), school districts (Austin ISD, Dallas ISD, Fairfax County, Rockwood R-VI, Savannah-Chatham, Hancock County, Liberty County, Douglas County, Muscogee County), and municipalities (Bridgeport, Connecticut), with geographic concentration in Texas, Georgia, Oregon, and Missouri, but none of this activity maps specifically to canned or jarred organic black plums. Without evidence that state and local buyers actually source this commodity through open solicitation, the code presents a closed or dormant procurement category.
