UNSPSC 50344903: Frozen arctic snow nectarines

The variety of nectarines known as arctic snow nectarines that have been frozen for preservation.

UNSPSC 50344903 Frozen arctic snow nectarines is a Commodity code that shows no recent relevant state and local procurement activity. The recent opportunities tagged under this code span entirely different product categories—grocery items, fresh produce, ice cream, dried fruits, and food service distribution—with no solicitations actually seeking frozen arctic snow nectarines or products closely matching that specification. The code's narrow scope and the absence of matching demand signals suggest minimal activity in this product line at the state and local level.

The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual work being procured indicates either a tagging error in the underlying opportunity records or that frozen arctic snow nectarines represent an exceptionally niche commodity with no current state and local market. The recent opportunities instead reflect robust, ongoing activity across broader food-service categories—particularly school nutrition programs, institutional food service (state hospitals, correctional facilities, state-supported living centers), and USDA child-nutrition programs—but none of these solicitations identify frozen arctic snow nectarines as a line item or requirement. Without evidence of genuine market demand for this specific product at the state and local level, the code does not merit active pursuit.
