UNSPSC 50343484: Frozen sugarose grapes

The variety of table grapes known as sugarose grapes that have been frozen for preservation.

UNSPSC 50343484 Frozen sugarose grapes, a Commodity code, does not align with the state and local procurement activity actually being sourced under this classification. The recent opportunities block shows no solicitations for frozen grapes or frozen specialty fruit products; instead, the tagged opportunities span a wide range of unrelated food service categories including fresh produce, dried fruits and nuts, ice cream and frozen novelties, comprehensive grocery procurement for institutional and school food service, and specialized food distribution contracts. The code classification appears to be a data entry mismatch or administrative artifact, as frozen grapes do not feature in any of the posted opportunities.

State and local procurement activity under this code shows little relevant recent volume. School districts, state health agencies, county corrections facilities, and child care providers are actively soliciting groceries, fresh and frozen produce, and food service supplies through IFBs and RFPs with response dates ranging from January through July 2026, but none of these solicitations reference frozen sugarose grapes as a line item or procurement focus. Without concrete evidence of market demand for the commodity itself in recent state and local solicitations, this code does not represent a viable pursuit opportunity at this time.
