UNSPSC 50317221: Organic nafplion green olives

The variety of organic olives known as organic nafplion green olives

UNSPSC 50317221 Organic nafplion green olives (Commodity) shows minimal relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The code nominally describes a single specialty food product — organic green olives from Nafplion, Greece — yet the recent opportunities block contains no solicitations explicitly seeking this item. Instead, the opportunities tagged under this code are broad food-service and school-nutrition solicitations for general grocery staples, produce, proteins, and prepared foods serving institutional meal programs across multiple states and issuing bodies.

The mismatch suggests the code does not meaningfully predict procurement demand in the state and local market right now. Recent activity documented in the opportunities block spans Texas health and human services facilities, Georgia school nutrition programs, Oregon corrections, Connecticut public schools, and Atlanta municipal food distribution — but none of these solicitations name organic Nafplion olives or specialty imported condiments as line items or categories. Vendors pursuing this UNSPSC code should verify actual procurement intent at target agencies rather than relying on the code classification to signal opportunity.
