UNSPSC 49211701: Bowling equipment

UNSPSC 49211701 Bowling equipment is a Commodity code that shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The recent opportunities tagged to this code—law enforcement equipment, lawn and grounds maintenance supplies, athletic apparel and equipment, and turf chemical application services—fall outside the nominal scope of bowling equipment procurement. Sourcewell's cooperative purchasing agreement for law enforcement equipment, Donna Independent School District's catalog bid for lawn mowers and landscape tools, Albany State University's request for athletic apparel and customization services, and White County Board of Commissioners' chemical application services are distinct product and service categories that do not align with bowling equipment purchases.

State and local jurisdictions may procure bowling equipment under this code for recreation centers, parks and recreation departments, or educational facilities, but the available source records do not document such activity. If pursuing opportunities under this code, monitor cooperative purchasing agreements issued by state procurement offices and special-purpose districts that operate recreation facilities or athletic complexes, as these entities represent the most likely buyers of bowling equipment within the state and local sector.
