UNSPSC 49131602: Sporting decoys

UNSPSC 49131602 Sporting decoys, a Commodity code, captures state and local procurement of specialized athletic and tactical equipment that state agencies, universities, and county public-safety departments source on an as-needed basis. The code shows minimal alignment with its nominal scope in recent posting activity; the two most recent opportunities tagged to this code involve athletic apparel and customization services for a university athletics program and tactical optical sights for law enforcement, neither of which represents sporting decoys in the traditional sense. State and local issuing bodies using this code include higher-education institutions within multi-campus university systems and county purchasing divisions managing public-safety equipment. The activity suggests that state and local procurement systems may apply this code broadly to miscellaneous sporting and tactical equipment categories rather than to decoys specifically.

Recent opportunities span Georgia, with Albany State University (University System of Georgia) posting an eRFQ on March 6, 2026 due March 26, 2026 for Athletic Equipment, Apparel, and Customization Services to support Division II intercollegiate athletics programs, and Gwinnett County Department of Financial Services issuing informal written quotations on March 6, 2026 due March 10, 2026 for 90 units of Aimpoint ACRO P2 red dot sights and 30 units of Aimpoint MOS mount plates for delivery to the Gwinnett Police Training Center. Neither solicitation addresses the commodity's stated category. The code appears to show little relevant recent activity for traditional sporting decoys procurement.
