UNSPSC 41114502: Elastometers

UNSPSC 41114502 Elastometers is a Commodity code that shows no relevant recent state or local procurement activity. The recent opportunities flagged under this code span laboratory testing services (Marion County, Oregon; Texas Department of State Health Services), laboratory equipment repair and maintenance (Texas DSHS), spectrophotometer replacement (City of Tampa), oil-analysis testing for utilities (Lubbock Power & Light), landscape architectural services (Harris County Toll Road Authority), technical support for analyzer systems (City of Orlando), EV charger repair services (Broward County Transportation), construction materials testing (Town of Waterford, Connecticut), lab information management systems (County of Santa Clara), electrical meter test equipment (City of Ocala), water treatment plant well drilling (City of Palm Bay), fatigue testing systems (Lamar University), and lock-in amplifiers (Texas A&M University System). None of these procurements involve elastomeric materials or products—rubbers, polymers, seals, gaskets, or similar commodity items that the code nominally covers. The mismatch between code assignment and actual scope suggests either tagging error by the issuing bodies or that state and local procurement systems are using this code outside its intended hierarchical tier. State and local governments do not appear to be actively buying elastometers under this classification as of mid-2026.
