UNSPSC 41104814: Laboratory heat exchange condensers

UNSPSC 41104814 Laboratory heat exchange condensers (Commodity) shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The single recent opportunity sourced under this code is the City of Palm Bay, Florida's ITB 19-ITB-26 for comprehensive laboratory testing services across water, wastewater, groundwater, and industrial pretreatment programs — a scope that encompasses analytical testing at multiple municipal facilities with unit-price compensation, not the procurement of laboratory heat exchange condenser equipment or components that the code nominally describes. The mismatch between the code's equipment focus and the opportunity's service scope suggests either a tagging error or that this Commodity code does not align with current state and local market demand.

The City of Palm Bay solicitation, posted in April 2026 with a bid deadline of March 17, 2026, required bidders to hold Florida Department of Health Environmental Laboratory Certification Program certifications and NELAP accreditation, with 75 percent of analytical work performed in-house. Three bids were received ranging from $80,872 to $107,946 for the initial 12-month term. Without additional recent opportunities across other jurisdictions, geographic spread cannot be established, and the code lacks the visibility needed to characterize state or local procurement patterns or issuing-body concentration under its nominal scope.
