UNSPSC 41103301: Liquid scintillation counters

UNSPSC 41103301 Liquid scintillation counters is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local opportunities posted under it show minimal alignment with the code's nominal scope. The two most recent solicitations involve copper sulfate chemicals supply and a public health lab information management system — neither of which relates to liquid scintillation counting equipment. This mismatch suggests the code sees little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement, or that issuers have tagged unrelated work under an inappropriate classification.

Pasco County, Florida issued an RFQ (RFQFP261004) on June 3, 2026, for an as-needed supply of large copper sulfate crystals and liquid copper sulfate, with proposals due June 26, 2026. The County of Santa Clara issued an RFI (RFITSSFY260686) on April 7, 2026, seeking qualified vendors for a replacement public health lab information management system (LIMS) to support modern, scalable workflows compliant with regulatory requirements, with responses due April 22, 2026. Neither opportunity aligns with liquid scintillation counter procurement, limiting this code's utility for tracking actual demand in the commodity category it names.
